How to Order

Welcome to the HootStore

Here, you'll find a selection of sustainably sourced Hootsuite merchandise (most of it produced by our friends at Fairware) that's ready to ship on demand.  

How It Works

Items listed for sale here are held in inventory at Fairware or their international partner, and are either ready to ship or produced on demand. 

Orders of in-stock items are typically fulfilled within one week of order placement. Made-to-order products can take up to 3 weeks to create. We can arrange rush deliveries if needed.

Fairware ships to Hootsuite offices or directly to your clients. If you'd like to personalize an order with a handwritten postcard, just add your request to the Notes section when placing your order and we'll take care of it for you.

Invoicing

Swag ordered for a Hootsuite customer must be for business purposes and will be taken directly from your department’s budget, which you’ll indicate during the checkout process. Your department will be invoiced through Finance every two weeks. If you’d like to purchase swag for personal purchases, please pay with your credit card upon checkout.    

General Questions

I need an item but don't see it in the store. Can I create a custom order?

Of course! Fairware can arrange for custom products to be printed if you don’t see what you need in the HootStore. They have a broad assortment of other products that you can order based on your specific needs. Timelines for custom orders are typically 3-4 weeks.

Do I receive a discount if I order larger quantities?

Note: If you are buying from the inventory available, we have an agreement that gives us the best pricing regardless of how many pieces you are buying. This is because we have inventory at Fairware that we buy in bulk. (giving us the best pricing even when we order pieces one or two at a time).  

What if I need last-minute swag?

If you are tight on time and are in need of last-minute swag we have a couple of options: 

1- Hootsuite Vancouver Offices: You can order through the internal shop and pick it up yourself directly from Fairware. They are located at: 178 West 3rd Avenue, just a 5-10 minute walk away from our two Vancouver HQ offices. 

2-If you are in a real rush, you can email Fairware at hootstore@fairware.com and they can likely deliver it to you that day.

What if I'm ordering for another department?

If you are ordering for another department, please select that department in the drop-down menu during checkout. When you get the confirmation email, forward it to the budget manager in that department for their approval. 

Shipping Questions

How long does shipping take?

Shipping time depends on where you are shipping to. The item will be shipped within 1 week of being ordered. After shipping, items are typically delivered within the following time frame: 

- Canada and US: 4-7 days
- Europe: 14-21 days
- Rest of the world: 30 days 

How much will I be charged for shipping?

Deliveries to HQ1/HQ2 are free of charge. For other deliveries, the default shipping charge is $20; if shipping is less, your final invoice will be adjusted. If shipping charges exceed $20, we will contact you with the estimated charges by email. You must follow the advice process for these shipping charges. 

Can my items be shipped to HQ?

Yes, A weekly delivery will be shipped to HQ1 and HQ2 every Friday for no charge. Your order must be in by Thursday before 1pm or it will be delivered the following Friday. The front desk will message you when your item has arrived. 

I'm ordering swag for multiple people in different locations. How do I enter multiple shipping locations?

You can do a bulk order by following these steps: 

Download and fill in this form with your desired items and recipients’ addresses. Create an order in the HootStore for all the items. In the “Shipping recipient” field, add a note that you will be sending all the addresses via the bulk spreadsheet. Send an email to hootstore@fairware.com with the order number and the bulk spreadsheet. When your order confirmation email arrives in your inbox, follow the advice process.  

Can I track my shipment?

We ship all North American orders with tracking. For International orders, we automatically ship using the cheapest option. If you prefer to have your item tracked, you can do so at an extra cost. Tracking starts at approximately $33 for international orders. 

To track an international order, email hootstore@fairware.com and the swag fulfillment company will sort out the cost. They will notify you of the extra cost and will need your manager’s approval before moving forward. 

What if I need express shipping?
